Global Citizenship Student Symposium on Disarmament and Climate Change
St Cuthbert’s College will host a global citizenship student symposium early in Term 3, on Disarmament and Climate Change.
Experts in the fields of disarmament and climate change will present to students and mentor them through solution-based workshops – the topics covered will include:
- Worldviews and Responsibility
- Worldviews and Responsibility
- Climate Change – New Zealand and the Agriculture Dilemma
- Personal Responses to Climate Change
- Disarmament and Nuclear Free Treaties
- New approaches to grand challenges for universities
- The Circular Economy
- Social Entrepreneurialism
Year 10-13 students are invited to submit an application to participate in the symposium here…
