Our Vision

The vision of the Education Portal for UNA New Zealand is to empower New Zealanders to become better global citizens and seek active participation in the work of the UN in NZ and globally. New Zealanders will become proactive contributors towards a more peaceful, tolerant, inclusive and secure world.

To achieve this, the Education Portal for UNA NZ is providing a central place for all New Zealand educators, students and their families to learn about the UN and its various institutions and also engage in many diverse activities which meet the goals of the United Nations Association of NZ (UNA NZ).

This website and the materials and courses on it are curated or created by UNA Canterbury Branch. We encourage sharing for educational purposes.
